Kawasaki Gas Turbine Generator Sets

Meta Power Systems has built a strong partnership with Kawasaki Gas Turbine Europe (KGE) GmbH, an affiliated company of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.
Thanks to their high electrical and thermal efficiencies, reliability, flexibility, and environmental compatibility, the Kawasaki Gas Turbine Generator Sets (GPB), ranging from 1,800 KWe to 34,000 KWe and 3,700 KWth to 75,000 KWth, are well-suited for electricity generation and CHP applications. The GPB gen-sets produce high-temperature exhaust, and thermal energy can be recovered from this exhaust to produce steam, hot water, or chilled water (with an absorption chiller). The exhaust can also be used directly for industrial process drying or heating.

The Kawasaki GPB Series is designed for baseload applications for both parallel operations with the grid and island mode operation. The low lifecycle costs and high investment return make the GBP units an excellent solution for any market.  

Over 140 such units are already installed throughout Europe and over 7,800 worldwide.
