Feasibility study

Meta Power Systems offers Technical and Economic Feasibility Assessments for cogeneration (CHP) plants.

Initially, data is collected to evaluate the project viability and determine the energy cost savings to justify further investigations.

During the Technical assessment, equipment sizing, technology selection, and operation mode are determined to develop the conceptual design in close communication with our customers.

Afterward, our designers evaluate the economic potential of the design while continuing to fine-tune the conceptual design, estimating project costs, and comparing alternative concepts.

Meta Power Systems evaluates the economic viability of a project using the payback and life cycle cost (LCC) analysis methods.  Both methods require determining costs (capital, O&M costs), revenue incentives and savings attributable to the project, and costs attributable to a baseline or alternative case.
